Use a Travel Directory to Plan a Specialized Vacation and Find a Great Deal

There are hundreds if not thousands of travel web sites out there offering niche services and good local deals. The questions is, where do I start?

There are a few great directory resources that are only list sites which have been individually reviewed and edited. Here are some of our favorites.

The Guides and Directories section of Open Directory includes many large sites that can help you plan a vacation anywhere in the world.

Another good resource is the Travel section of R-TT Directory which lists niche and well as large sites with very good titles and descriptions. You can quickly scan the list to find what you are looking for.

Information Directory has a diverse listing of tours, destinations and parks.

Other good resources include Yahoo, Best of the Web, Travel Catalog & Directory, Arakne-Links Directory, and Family Friendly Sites.
